Pegoretti Orlando Steel Gravel Bike

The Pegoretti Orlando is the Veronese brand’s answer to the question every gravel rider eventually asks: what if the bike just handled all of it? Singletrack, fire roads, bikepacking missions, fast group rides on impolite pavé — Orlando doesn’t ask riders to choose. Named for the lovesick nobleman in Shakespeare’s As You Like It who ditched civilization for the forest, it’s an invitation to do exactly that.

Over-Size, Over Everything

What makes Orlando special starts with what Pegoretti does best: oversized steel tubing that delivers a ride feel no carbon frame can replicate — stiff, responsive, alive in the hands. But Orlando's real trick is at the rear. Slender chainstays and an unusually narrow 27.2mm seat tube (compact by Pegoretti standards) work together to soak up trail chatter right where the rider feels it most. The front end says go; the back end says stay cool. The result is a bike that feels planted and composed when things get rough, without giving up an ounce of speed when the road smooths out.

Clearance and Options
Clearance and Options

Orlando clears up to 50mm tires on a 1x drivetrain, or 40mm with fenders fitted — so there's room to run whatever the terrain demands. Like Pegoretti's Elio and Marcelo Interno, it's built around electronic groupsets with fully internal routing and a UDH-compliant rear dropout. The standard finish is a single base color, with Ciavete artwork, graphics, panel and further custom color options available for riders who want to make it theirs. Cockpit builds span Enve/CK, FSA/CK, Deda, DCR and more. Not sure what works best? That's what we're here for — reach out and we'll help spec it right.

A Fork in the Trail

Every Orlando ships with a matched carbon fiber front fork as standard, complete with fender eyelets. For riders who want more front-end capability, Pegoretti also offers the DT Swiss F132 ONE gravel suspension fork — Orlando's geometry is specifically tuned to work with it.

About the brand

Dario Pegoretti Bikes

Much ink has been spilled about the work of this storied Veronese marque and its iconoclastic founder, Dario Pegoretti. Many wax lyrical about its Ciavete artwork, an abstract 'surprise me' style of painting equally inspired by the client and the moment. Others, its workshop, an old train yard repurposed as a studio, and the amalgamation of art, music, mad-cap ideas and, yes, food and wine that propels its team to create metal wonders that defy the normal rules of riding and the wider industry.
