By moving the routing inside the frame, Pegoretti was able to freshen up the bike’s lines, especially the top tube, which now slopes down — a nod to the new direction first hinted at by its sensational stablemate, Elio.
For riders new to the Marcelo line (and perhaps, Pegoretti in general), the Interno is handmade in Verona at what Pegoretti calls its 'Bottega'. Under foot, it delivers a swift feel and consistent speed, while staying true to Pegoretti’s reputation for comfort. If you’re torn between the brand's Elio frameset and Marcelo Interno, the latter might win you over if you’d rather trade a touch of outright performance for extra comfort—and you don’t feel the need for stainless steel.
One standout feature is the carbon fiber fork. Unlike Elio’s straight‑edge, aerodynamic-focused fork, Marcelo Interno’s fork has a gentle curve that adds a bit more compliance, smoothing out rougher roads.
Just like the Elio, Marcelo Interno works seamlessly with electronic groupsets and clears up to 32 mm tires. Riders can choose from standard or custom geometries, and finish options range from Ciavete artwork and solid colors to Pegoretti’s signature geometric designs.
