Found in Munich, Made in Romania
Adam found these cups on a trip to Munich, in a café that took its coffee as seriously as its tableware. It took some digging to trace them back to Crafted on Earth, a small ceramics studio in Romania, and a while longer to commission a run of our own. These are the first of their cups to reach the US.
Each one is made by hand, with the Regroup wordmark pressed into the side and the maker's stamp on the foot. The glazes take their cue from the desert: a warm tan or soft sage rising from the base into a clean white rim. No two are quite alike.
They come in four sizes, the same ones we pour into at the bar: Espresso (80 ml), Cortado (130 ml), Flat White (180 ml) and Latte (280 ml). This is a limited drop. When it's gone we'll be back with new colors.
