More about the Rev
The Rev takes React’s ShadeTronic® lens — solar-powered, tinting itself between filter categories S2, S3 and S4 in a tenth of a second, polarised and UV400-filtered throughout — and wraps it in a full frame built for stability and coverage. That fuller shape is the obvious difference from the semi-rimless Optray; the less obvious one is how far you can tune the fit. The temples adjust individually and twist through 360 degrees at the tips, so they follow the shape of your head and your helmet straps rather than fighting them. The nose pads set to two positions. The whole frame tilts through three angles relative to the lenses, which is the adjustment that decides whether you’re looking through the lens or over it when you’re down in the drops. There’s a Small size alongside the Regular for narrower faces and smaller heads, a correction clip for prescription wearers, and replacement nose pieces if you wear one out. At 40 grams it gives up four grams to the Optray and gives back coverage, adjustability and a frame that stays exactly where you put it. As with the Optray, even the lens’s lightest state is a proper medium tint — glasses for morning sun through full sun, not for riding in the dark.

Individually adjustable temples that twist through 360 degrees at the tips, nose pads with two positions, and three positions of frame tilt relative to the lenses. Between them they cover the things that usually make sunglasses almost right — sitting too low, riding up on the helmet strap, or asking you to look over the top in an aggressive position.
THE SAME TENTH OF A SECOND
The lens is React’s ShadeTronic® system in full: solar cells turning infrared light into current, a liquid-crystal layer moving through filter categories S2 to S4, and a reaction time of 0.1 seconds. Polarised, UV400-filtered, and 300 times faster to darken than a photochromic lens.
TWO SIZES, FULL COVERAGE
The full frame adds stability and shields more of your eye from wind and grit than a semi-rimless shape can. Regular is the standard fit; the Small is cut for narrower faces and smaller heads, which is the difference between a pair that seals and a pair that lets the wind in.
