More about the Delta
The Delta is where Alba Optics started. Its shape comes from Italian sunglasses of the 1980s and 90s: the founders went looking for an original mold from that era and put it back into production with modern materials.
The frame is TR90, a nylon and carbon-fibre material that Alba says is 20% lighter than conventional frame materials, keeps its shape in high heat and is safe on the skin over long days. The temple tips are tapered and arched, so the frame stays put when the road gets rough.
The VZUM lens is interchangeable, with slots along the top that let air through and keep fog away. The whole thing weighs 26 grams.
