3T built the original Racemax Italia to race at the sharp end of professional gravel. The Racemax 2 Italia takes that foundation and re-engineers it from the ground up. The frame is manufactured at 3T's Presezzo factory near Bergamo using filament winding and resin transfer moulding — a process 3T calls Jazz Carbon — delivering exceptional structural precision with a genuine Made in Italy pedigree. New geometry brings a steeper head angle for sharper handling, increased bottom bracket drop for greater stability, revised fork offset, and shorter 420mm chainstays for improved responsiveness. Tire clearance jumps to 51mm WAM with 1x setups (48mm with 2x), reflecting the wider-rubber direction gravel racing has taken since the original launched in 2020. The frame is compatible with electronic groupsets only and supports UDH, with chainring capacity up to 52T in 1x via 3T's own Torno Wide crank.

Real-World Aerodynamics
Every tube on the Racemax 2 Italia has been shaped to cut drag at real-world riding speeds, wind angles, and tire widths — not just wind-tunnel ideals. The narrow headtube now features a nose profile to minimise frontal area, while a 75mm-wide downtube sits close behind the front wheel to manage airflow around the bottles. Fork caliper bolts are hidden behind a painted cover, and aero detailing runs from the seatstays through to the seatpost. The result is a 1.5% aerodynamic improvement over the first-generation Racemax Italia despite accommodating wider tires.
Integrated Storage & Rear Light
Clean lines meet practical function. The downtube houses an integrated storage compartment with a Fidlock mini-hook closure and a Missgrape-developed neoprene bag, keeping tools and tubes protected and rattle-free. Up top, the seatpost integrates a rear light with five modes, up to 25 lumens, and 15 hours of runtime in strobe — removable for USB charging, with a cover plate included for when a bikepacking bag takes its place.
100% Made in Italy, with Jazz Carbon
The Racemax 2 Italia is produced entirely at 3T's Presezzo factory, where dry carbon fibre is wound automatically using filament winding before resin is applied through resin transfer moulding. This process — Jazz Carbon — combines automation and craftsmanship to deliver consistent, high-quality carbon structures. CeramicSpeed SLT oversized bearings sit inside the slim headtube, and the proprietary MORE Integrale stem system routes all cables internally through a D-shaped steerer, allowing stem-length swaps and bar-angle adjustments without disconnecting or bleeding brake hoses.
