A Parlee Ouray to Put Rim Brakes in the Past

When a long-time Parlee rider rolled into Regroup with skinny tyres, rim brakes, and a whole lot of peer pressure from his cycling buddies to “join the modern era” after more than ten happy years on his existing bike, we took the opportunity to introduce him to Parlee’s “all-road” Ouray platform.

The build process began with an in-depth fit with our friends at Cyclologic, after which we scoped out a ground-up custom Parlee Ouray, with the client opting for a sleek white and blue color scheme from Parlee’s DUO paint level.

To complement the peerless quality of the frameset, which, like its stablemate, Taos, is made in Portugal, we brought SRAM Red’s E1 drivetrain and a de-badged set of Zipp 303 Firecrest wheels to the party for the ultimate sleek and subtle build. Continental’s superb Grand Prix 5000 TL Tubeless tires put the rubber to the groad and complete the client’s dream ride, ready to make the next ten years as amazing as the last.
