The Scylon frameset excels on three key fronts: aerodynamic efficiency, outright speed, and razor-sharp handling. Time's distinctive approach to carbon fiber manufacturing is widely acclaimed. Utilizing Time's Braided Carbon technology, the Scylon frameset offers unparalleled flexibility in tube shaping, ride tuning, vibration damping, and the delicate balance of stiffness, comfort, and responsiveness. The result is a superlative foundation for a road racing bike, blending blistering speed with remarkable comfort.
Unmistakably designed for performance, the Scylon frameset is driven by aerodynamic refinement, low weight, and superb strength (backed by a lifetime warranty). It retains signature Time innovations such as the Powerbox chainstay system, lighter and widened to accommodate tires up to 32c. The frameset includes Time's patented highly adjustable seatpost design, allowing easy adjustments between -20mm and +10mm offset for extensive fore-aft positioning flexibility. A redesigned aerodynamic fork completes the package, slicing through the air with a 4% reduction in drag compared to its predecessor.
