Meilenstein ART represents a revolution in carbon wheel engineering, with processes rethought, rebuilt, and refined, and a reengineered rim architecture, reinforced with Alpha Rib Technology. Lightweight’s new, patented internal rib structure realizes a wider, more aerodynamic profile while upping stiffness and cutting weight - an incredible result given how stiff and light the wheel was before. Naturally, the Meilenstein ART is Lightweight’s most advanced wheelset yet, a speed weapon built for riders who demand nothing less than supreme performance.
The Meilenstein ART rim is built on Alpha Rib Technology (ART), a network of structural ribs, rather than a hollow structure inside the rim cavity. This internal architecture dramatically increases lateral stiffness, reinforcing the profile against side loads, and ensuring razor-sharp handling and efficient power transfer.
ART also finds expression in the spoke interface. Lightweight cleverly bonds carbon fiber spokes into the internal rib structure, a direct line that eliminates unnecessary bends and preserves the natural load path of the fibers. On the bike, the cumulative effect of ART’s greater tensile strength and reduced material fatigue means a more direct, responsive connection between rider and road.
